Did you know that there is a “1971 Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act?” Probably not, but then when one considers the volume of legislation created just at the federal level — legislation that remains in force, the normal reaction would be one of astonishment, of being utterly overwhelmed, of one’s eyes just glazing over. No wonder congressmen and senators have no idea what they’re voting on much of the time.
Anyway, apparently we have a crisis of excess horses and burrows running wild in western states. Enter the Bureau of Land Management and a dispute they have with the Humane Society of the United States.
Here’s the crisis in a nutshell for your consideration.
What in the world!!! This is so horrible. Is there no end to Obama’s hate for America. He’s trying his dambdest to change and destroy America. Satan’s ruthless dictator and destroyer.

The problem actually lies in the fact that the organization responsible for seeing to the care of these horses refused to take humane action to control their population before it got out of hand. They didn’t want to go to the effort and expense when it would have made a difference.
I am a feral cat rescuer, and I’ve used plenty of my own money to humanely control the feral cat population in my community. The least these bastards could have done is allocate government money to save these horses. I’d rather see the money go for that than to some bunch of illegal aliens or refugees who are only here to suck the resources of this country dry.
