State Department spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki admitted that they misled reporters about hosting a delegation of Muslim Brotherhood leaders in D.C.
She also admitted that the Obama admin remains comfortable with continuing to host meetings with the Brotherhood. Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri condemned the State Dept. for its actions and expressed frustration that the U.S. continues to entertain terrorists.

The State Department admitted on Monday that it misled reporters about a recent delegation of MuslimBrotherhood leaders and allies who were hosted for a meeting with officials at Foggy Bottom.
When initially faced with questions about the meeting following the Free Beacon’s initial report, Psakiimplied that the delegation was legitimate due to its ties to Georgetown.
“Well, State Department officials meet—recently met with a group of visiting Egyptian former parliamentarians whose visit to the United States was organized and funded by Georgetown University,” she said. “Such meetings are fairly routine at the State Department where we regularly meet with political party leaders from across the world.”
“The Georgetown group included former members of the Freedom and Justice Party, among others. So this was a meeting – we meet on a regular basis with a range of groups, and obviously, as I mentioned, this was a group sponsored by Georgetown,” Psaki said
