David Brooks, a New York Times columnist and so-called “conservative” released an article on Tuesday that’s more of an assault on grassroots conservatives than anything else. In his article he name dropped several conservative figures, who currently occupy some kind of political spotlight. Among them were people like Ted Cruz (R-TX), Newt Gingrich, Ben Carson and Rush Limbaugh.
Brooks goes on to compare modern conservatism to right-wing radicalism, hauntingly falling in line with some comments made by Obama less than a few weeks ago about how radicalism and extremism exists outside of Islam.
But is it radicalism to fight for what you believe in? This is becoming more common among a party that’s already tearing itself to pieces. The divide is between true conservatives and country club Republicans who are continually folding to the will of their liberal counterparts.

Yep. We don’t intend to bow down and grovel at the Libiot altar of govt. Gee, sorry to so disappoint them.
If fiscal and personal responsibility makes one dangerous, then so be it. A serious wingnut that Brooks boy.
The N.Y. is nothing but a socialist commie rag sheet.
Our government uses drones for one and has “smart bombs” that can kill the one person intended to be killed, and you guys think you’ll be able to fend them off if some thing that unlikely were to happen? Referring to a total disarmament of the nation. Won’t happen and you’re all crazy for being that manifested in fear of your precious guns being confiscated. 7 comments on this post and at least 4 of you prove why gun laws become more regulatory.
Your gonna vote for Bernie??? Lol. no need to read or try to educate you…you poor soul!
I’ve been following and supporting him as a congressman since ’07. I’ve got plenty of education. I’ve got plenty on every person running for president as a matter of fact, Judy… I follow politics, government and political science, the way most Americans follow sports and TV shows intended to numb your mind of the serious issues facing this country. Thanks for the empty condescending offer, and the obvious troll stalk of my Facebook page by muttering a three sentence comment that actually should have only needed two sentences. And a few spaces as well. You must be a trump supporter, with your lack of grammar.
