It has gotten to the point where there is little that Kim Jong-un or those in positions of power under him can say that is shocking. We are subjected to a continuous flow of bellicose comments and threats of war. It’s almost as though the dictator is asking to be attacked.
Not only does Kim threaten the U.S. with nuclear destruction (a feat of which it is not believed he is yet capable), but he frequently fires missiles and artillery shells into the seas around South Korea and Japan. While that might seem a silly thing to do, sort of like a temper tantrum, it does illustrate his capabilities when it comes to threatening his neighbors.
Just when you might have thought that he has run out of threats to make, he finds a new one to issue. This one is especially horrific, and illustrates the depravity of North Korea’s leaders.
