Temperature measurements made with different instruments and methods over time must necessarily be adjusted to ensure high-quality records of temperature that reliably represent changes. The adjustments needed for land stations in the United States often increase the apparent long-term warming, but overall, adjustments actually reduce the global warming trend.
What does an organization do when the real numbers don’t support the agenda they are pushing?
Sometimes they fudge the numbers. Cherry pick what helps prop up the lie and ignore the real facts.
This happens so often that The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has been doing just that in order to support their biggest science scandal: global warming. Selling their brand of science, their “truth” about global warming brings in extra funding, yet their data is off by 50%.
For the past 18 years, satellites have shown no global warming, where as the “the land based data sets like the ones maintained by NOAA for the US Historical Climate Network (USHCN) continue to show a warming trend.” How can this be?
One explanation, by meteorologist Anthony Watts, shows NOAA using readings from areas that experience Urban Heat Island effect, that is instruments surrounded by buildings, roads or airports nearby which raises the temperatures due to local “environment” and not climate or weather.

Every scientist believes in global climate change, is that another way to say weather? Count me in on that one . I believe in weather
Climate change is a farce…. However eco system collapse is very real. I understand both sides of issue and both sides have a point. There are so many issues happening all at the same time. There are only so many resources and population is booming worldwide. Where do all the byproducts go? Right into our groundwater, streams, rivers then oceans. Check out red tide in gulf states. Commercial fishing is so bad in 50 years the ocean will be in collapse. I do understand progress and people have to make a living. This problem will never get solved while there are agendas at work and both sides of this issue can’t rationally talk about it with out insults and attacks
well if I’m being attacked I’ll shoot back. but yes you’re completely right, aside from your comment about climate change being a farce. you admit that ecosystem collapse, as you put it, being a problem. you mind explaining to everyone what controls our climate? cause according to you it isn’t our ecosystems, macro and micro.. so what exactly is it that controls our climates?
do you deny the dust bowl? do you deny Rome destroying the middles east slush climate by spreading salt throughout the land? I’m just wondering where exactly we draw the line at “farce”
rain forests hold more water in the plants and land, making for more water to be evaporated, making more rain. if we destroy the forests by cutting down trees and poisoning the lands there will be less rain, is that not climate change? yes it’s on a micro scale but when we add that one specific thing to everything going on around the world where exactly do we draw the line at climate change being a “farce”
