NBC Plot Against Trump Backfires Against Billy Bush

Billy Bush, who was also featured in the tape, that was severely doctored to make him look like less of a womanizer, was bragging about the tapes existence during the Rio Olympics.

When the media claims that their bias is nothing more than a product of the imaginations of Trump and his supporters, they must think that more than half of America is wrong and they’re right. Sounds like typical liberal logic, just like their attempt to “sanitize” the Trump tapes to make him look like a bad guy.

We’re told the plan was to edit the tape to keep the focus on Trump and not Billy. “Access Hollywood” we’re told was not going to air the portion where Trump and Billy got off the bus and Billy goaded Trump and the soap star to hug. Our sources say the tape was going to be “sanitized” to protect Billy as much as possible.

Case in point … after The Washington Post ran the story, ‘Access’ aired their footage and cut out the parts where Billy looked worse — saying things like, “Jeez! Your girl’s hot as s*** in the purple!”

It turns out that the Hurricane Matthew footage derailed their plans a bit. Apparently this didn’t sit well with some NBC execs. Before the tape was leaked, there was no plan to discipline Billy Bush, but now that everybody has heard it, they’re calling for his head.

Bush is leaving NBC with a $10 million dollar settlement:

Embattled “Today” anchor Billy Bush is likely to get a $10 million lump settlement from NBC after his abrupt ouster following the vulgar revelations on theDonald Trump tape.

Bush and his legal team have been battling with NBC News chiefs to iron out a settlement — which, sources exclusively tell Page Six, will involve a large lump payment said to be the full value of his three-year contract, valued at around $10 million.

Bush’s attorney Marshall Grossman told Page Six on Friday, “Negotiations between Billy and NBC are progressing, and will continue to progress, and hopefully we will reach a conclusion in the near future. We were preparing for battle, but today we are preparing for settlement.”
