President Obama’s response to climate change was a “clean power” plan. This particular plan set standards meant to reduce carbon emissions by up to 32% by 2030 from measured levels in 2005. But at least 47% of Americans totally disagree with his attempt to handle “clean power”. The main reason it was opposed is because it was very expensive and overwrought. It also involved massive shift to Federal regulation and crippled many existing sectors involving millions of jobs and billions of private-sector dollars. But clean power wasn’t the only Obama policy to affect energy production. He also meddled with foreign energy in a significant way, one that turned many Americans against him.
