Jay Familglietti, NASA’s top water scientist, recently warned that California has only a year’s supply of water left in storage facilities and the backup groundwater is rapidly depleting. Despite this harrowing fact, California has no backup plan to address this crisis.
“California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega-drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for rain,” stated Familglietti. “In short, we have no paddle to navigate this crisis.”

This is because most of our water is diverted to save some supposedly endangered little insignificant fish.

Overpopulation creates problems; all Cali liberals believe in the environment. This is a natural condition live with it don’t use water. Maybe in 100 years the weather pattern will change. For now charge $10.00 a gallon.
Why can’t they run a pipe line from where all the snow is an send them all that water. Interesting thought.

California is not famous for considering the consequence of their actions. It’s a blue state thing so they aren’t alone.
