Jay Familglietti, NASA’s top water scientist, recently warned that California has only a year’s supply of water left in storage facilities and the backup groundwater is rapidly depleting. Despite this harrowing fact, California has no backup plan to address this crisis.
“California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega-drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for rain,” stated Familglietti. “In short, we have no paddle to navigate this crisis.”
UPDATE: California Gov. Jerry Brown issues ineffectual, mandatory water restriction as one-third of our nation’s crops are threatened. See Page 3 for updates.
MOVE TO PAGE 2:.

Send all the illegals back to Mexico and you could water your lawn all you want.
But I’ll bet they have lots of Bike lanes???
Give California back to mexico
Just don’t move to Colorado… Don’t need any more blunt smok’n hippy liberals
Move all liberials there
Guess we will just buy the rest of the country and have their water brought to California. Has to be cheaper to knock down some trailers than to build a bunch of desal plants.
Time to close down their golf courses, personal swimming pools, and wineries.
You have the Pacific Ocean spend money on desalination plants instead of wasting iy b on green energy.
Something to think about!!!!! It could be a curse… what is the most liberal. $#%&!@*est state we have…
well they used to have plans — but obees EPA thinks we should all be in caves – but they burn 30,000 gallons fuel on earth day… — http://www.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424052970204731804574384731898375624
