Jay Familglietti, NASA’s top water scientist, recently warned that California has only a year’s supply of water left in storage facilities and the backup groundwater is rapidly depleting. Despite this harrowing fact, California has no backup plan to address this crisis.
“California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega-drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for rain,” stated Familglietti. “In short, we have no paddle to navigate this crisis.”
UPDATE: California Gov. Jerry Brown issues ineffectual, mandatory water restriction as one-third of our nation’s crops are threatened. See Page 3 for updates.

you live in a freakin’ desert, you dumb smacks…you can only f**e it, for so long…how much water will you waste, trying to live a lie?
Good going to all who voted for Gov. Brown now
You can drink sand with all the illegal immigrants and send your kids to all gay schools if they don’t die from the vaccines they give your kids at school
Gonna be the dust bowls days in reverse.. the grapes of wrath
gotta send a bunch to the ocean and not build reservoirs … they ain’t natural
Could it be that they are reaping what they have sown? Their lifestyle is an abomination in the sight of the LORD. The liberal movie industry is all about self gratification and greed. Nuff said??
As long as it not every where
Don’t worry when California dries up I will be just p$#%&!@*ing thru to head east.
The same thing is happening here in the Austin, Texas area. When are the city council members going to understand that they can’t keep granting building permits. Every new business building and every new home requires water. The lakes that supply that water are already way too low and it would take a couple of hurricane weather incidents to even make a dent. There just isn’t any more and when it’s gone, no amount of money will bring it back. All they care about is city growth and they call it economic growth. I call foul.
Umm Michael Miller, wouldn’t that be the RAISINS of wrath?
The governor is more concerned about high speed rail than water.
