Jay Familglietti, NASA’s top water scientist, recently warned that California has only a year’s supply of water left in storage facilities and the backup groundwater is rapidly depleting. Despite this harrowing fact, California has no backup plan to address this crisis.
“California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega-drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for rain,” stated Familglietti. “In short, we have no paddle to navigate this crisis.”

Funny, I go up & down California (LA to San Jose) and haven’t seen any parts of Ca. that look like the picture they are showing.
So, I need all the men, and a bunch of concrete, and bricks. We will build the wall before the Liberals, and corruption move east.

I recall over 20 years ago they talked about building those plants but the cost was too high.
20 years ago they refused to spend the money for the Desalination plants, and again 10 years ago. Now they want the rest of the US to give them all their tax money to build them for them,,,since Obama will never agree to another pipeline.
California has already stolen every gallon of water they can get from all the states around them and even farther East. Now they’re talking about diverting some of the Columbia River just to feed California’s thirst for water in places it was never meant to be!
Open the dams, you nuts.
