Jay Familglietti, NASA’s top water scientist, recently warned that California has only a year’s supply of water left in storage facilities and the backup groundwater is rapidly depleting. Despite this harrowing fact, California has no backup plan to address this crisis.
“California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega-drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for rain,” stated Familglietti. “In short, we have no paddle to navigate this crisis.”

Ok, let me address your points one by one. Matthew, I think you are conflating two separate arguments. If you go all the way back to my first comment, I made absolutely no reference to race. It was not until that post, which I might add was completely off topics, used racial codes to invoke race as it pertained to intellect. It was not overt, but I am not afraid to call that out when I see it. Now my reference to the GOP is simple. They are notorious deniers of Climate Change which the vast majority of the world scientists, in including those in the US believe is happening.
Now to JJ Horton. As for this Inept Partisan mess. I kept my entire discussion civil and without name calling. I am fine with differing opinions, however when you dismiss my alignment with the principles of the Democratic party as Inept Partisan, then there is nothing to talk about.
