Several front groups for the Muslim Brotherhood built the framework for a political party here in the US in 2015: the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations.
The Brotherhood’s subversive plan to wage jihad against America that very explicitly calls for infiltrating the U.S. political system and “destroying (it) from within” was discovered in hundreds of pages the FBI confiscated from a Brotherhood leader’s home in Washington after 9/11.

You might want to read Submission, a novel from France that was a best seller there, by Michel Houellebecq, where a Muslim Brotherhood member becomes the President of France in a novel set in 2022. It’s very plausible, hopefully there, NOT in Canada or the U.S., we hope, if we learn.
