Mitt Romney Proposes Universal Basic Income Policy During Coronavirus Pandemic

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney thinks he has a solution to help Americans get through the coronavirus pandemic: temporary universal basic income.

Rahm Emmanuel once reveled an elemental liberal stratagem with his infamous statement: “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

According to one White House official, Nancy Pelosi tried to slip federal funding for abortion into the original coronavirus bill. Exactly how low can you go? Pelosi sure can play a mean game of limbo.

“Unfortunately, in this time of international crisis, the current administration is largely incompetent, and its incompetence and recklessness has threatened the lives of many people,” Bernie Sanders said during his debate with Joe Biden last week. Of course, Sanders has no qualms at all with inciting even more fear during this time of widespread stress and uncertainty – he’s got a communist society to build, after all, and that takes precedent over everything.
