The establishment wing of the Republican party can’t stop fantasizing about sabotaging Donald Trump — and neither can Mitt Romney.
Despite that he cannot win — a fact that he readily admits — Mitt Romney is still talking about entering the 2016 presidential race as an independent candidate.
The former GOP nominee continued his flirtation with the presidency this past Wednesday when he said that people are still encouraging him to jump into the Clinton/Trump race.
Romney is right about one thing. He wouldn’t win… but not because he would be running as an independent candidate. It is because he has already proven that he cannot win — even with a major party behind him. He’s lost twice before, and his third run at the Oval Office would likely be no different.

Romney is still a decent Good-fearing man, but he has recently shown such a fiery passion against Trump. WHERE WAS THAT PASSION WHEN HE WAS RUNNING AGAINST OBAMA?! Why did we not see that same fire back then? He could not win back when this country was PRIMED AND DESPERATE for a right wing president other than Obama, so we know he would only splinter the party now, giving the election to the evil hillary. I think the globalists know this, so it would seem Mitt is doing what he’s told, once again.
If Trump’s friendship and endorsement was so welcomed and so valuable for you a few years back, all of this negative talk about him now only sours our opinion of you, Mitt. We are ready for a change, and it might come back to bite us later, but nothing could be worse than 8 years of this current failed criminal.
