The former GOP nominee continued his flirtation with the presidency this past Wednesday when he said that people are still encouraging him to jump into the Clinton/Trump race.
Romney is right about one thing. He wouldn't win… but not because he would be running as an independent candidate. It is because he has already proven that he cannot win — even with a major party behind him. He's lost twice before, and his third run at the Oval Office would likely be no different.
