The Obama administration has directed the military to not allow personnel to say “Christmas”, in spite of the holiday’s status as a federally-recognized holiday.
The reason given by armed forces officials is that not everyone celebrates Christmas and that out of respect for them, military members should refer to Christmas celebrations simply as “holiday”-themed festivities.
This prohibition comes in the context of a wider push for political correctness in society in general and the military in particular, as evidenced by the recent reprimanding of Navy Chaplain Wes Modder for simply discussing religion, as chaplains are wont to do, with military personnel.
See how servicemen have reacted to not being allowed to say Christmas at the link below:

The constitution does not prohibit religion. It prohibits the government from restricting the practice of it. Merry Christmas.
Ah, the holiday season has arrived, along with a new batch of ABSOLUTE BS HOAXES, some of which are several years old. GOOGLE, people!
Just another outrageous thing done to our military and our country. When will Congress do something about the imposter in our White House?
Do people actually believe this nonsense? From the comments that I’ve seen… apparently so.
For those that do believe it, please cite the Obama order that makes this the case. I doubt you’ll be able to find it.
Additionally, I would imagine that this is pretty similar to the article from the same source that multiple times over the past month has published an article about an all-out gun ban “coming soon”.
Brian Joseph McCarthy And, what do you know. It’s the 2013 article cited by Snopes that shows that this ‘Obama order banning Christmas’ is simply not true.
Wow, you actually believe this article. If so, cite the order that they fail to cite.
Only 14% of our military approves of Obama today because of his evilness like this Godless act. Burn in hell Obama you evil spawn of the devil.
This is a f**e posting–get real people
Striking down another right to free speech. Ya…wonderful president. Can’t wait until he’s out of office.
