One Manhattan Beach Middle School has been teaching the Islamic Faith to its students, not just history, but actual tenets, such as: ‘The one true God, Allah’ and ‘All people must submit to Allah.’
Of course, teaching actual faith messages of any religion is prohibited, but for this California school, Islam is the exception, who has been instructing right out of the Quran.

Religion of any kind has no place in school. However, cultural and religious diversity should be taught. It opens the door to understanding. It is not the world’s responsibility to understand and tolerate the U.S. essay of life, we all need to make an effort too. Whether you all like it or not, there are people on earth that have different beliefs than you.
Your Mom and I worked in Manhattan Beach many moons ago, I can’t believe the amount of change required to make this occur in a locality.
