One Manhattan Beach Middle School has been teaching the Islamic Faith to its students, not just history, but actual tenets, such as: ‘The one true God, Allah’ and ‘All people must submit to Allah.’
Of course, teaching actual faith messages of any religion is prohibited, but for this California school, Islam is the exception, who has been instructing right out of the Quran.

The school isn’t teaching Islam (or any religion, for that matter) in the sense of INSTRUCTION for the kids. The school is teaching the history of these religions and what the different religions teach their followers to believe. It’s not like the school is trying to indoctrinate the kids.
Knowing the basics of other cultures’ belief systems is the first step towards understanding them.
Unless you really don’t give a $#%&!@* about other cultures and how to understand them, then your point is valid and you have a legitimate gripe. “Other cultures should try and understand US and OUR belief systems, not the other way around! ‘MERICA!” LOL!
