One Manhattan Beach Middle School has been teaching the Islamic Faith to its students, not just history, but actual tenets, such as: ‘The one true God, Allah’ and ‘All people must submit to Allah.’
Of course, teaching actual faith messages of any religion is prohibited, but for this California school, Islam is the exception, who has been instructing right out of the Quran.

Fire the principle for poor leadership. The pledge and national anthem are the bedrock of America They are done in the mother tongue…English. Those that feel that its OK to open school in an arabic spanish greek italian pledges are not getting it .The country may have all and more of these languages but when spoken it is done in english and the anthem is done in english.WHY??? Coming to America everyone is looking for the opportunity to have a sampling of what this country can offer. In doing so you assimulate into the core of society to be able to lay claim to the moniker AMERICAN .In this all can be had as long as you are willing to work for it and contribute for the good of the nation. Presently we have hoards wanting to come here and most seeking to see what they can take. This is like a house infested with $#%&!@*roaches… all are there to see what can be had but when the light comes on scatter like they are being attacked. The pledge and anthem are part of the glue that holds this country together and making changes for whatever reason is like changes being made to literary classics, making a change will dilute the original intent and you lose the heart of the meaning. Children when you say the pledge and sing the anthem do so in english so the true meaning is not lost. If you must practice your languages use other less sacred icons that will not insult the nation.
