Micheal Moore’s latest asinine tweet demonstrates exactly how base and hateful he and his Left-loving kind are. He seems to forget that his hero, President Barack Hussein Obama, has extended the U.S. military mission in Afghanistan until 2017. He evidently has forgotten that the reason our heroic men and women in uniform are in Afghanistan is because of 9/11 and those who serve deserve heartfelt love and recognition.
Yet Moore, in his tasteless and callous manner, has insulted those who fight to preserve his right to tweet 140 characters.

I can also ASSURE this traitor to America that even if my son wasn’t a part of those troops, I would still APPRECIATE everything those who are in our Armed Forces do for OUR country!

I don’t care for Moore, but I have to agree with him on this. People profess their love for the troops,and do so loudly, because it’s the current fad, it’s “cool”- it wasn’t always that way. Most people throughout history, not just in the United States, used to treat soldiers as suspect, especially the generals. The military is a career that sells itself very well to poor minority communities, and here in the impoverished southeast, as a “way out,” and to protect American lives, when in truth the vast majority of wars in U.S. history, save for a few, were and always will be for the enrichment of the elitist 1% of society.
