Michael Moore: My Next Film Will End Trump’s Presidency

If congressional Democrats can’t remove Donald Trump from the White House, they may have a final hail mary thanks to Michael Moore. The liberal director thinks that his next project could finally take Trump out once-and-for-all.

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore posed the following question last month: “Can a simple movie actually bring down a sitting president of the United States?”

He didn’t mention any concrete project at the time, but now Moore appears to have answered his own question — well, he believes he has, anyway.

Fellow left-wing heavyweight Harvey Weinstein announced Tuesday that he and his brother Bob have acquired the rights to Moore’s upcoming documentary aimed squarely at Republican President Donald Trump.

It’s called “Fahrenheit 11/9” — a reference not only to Moore’s previous flick “Fahrenheit 9/11” but also to Nov. 9, 2016, the date Trump’s win over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton became official.

“I’m making a movie to get us out of this mess,” Moore said on Facebook of his newest project. “I’ve f***ing had it.”

Moore said in a statement that “filming has been done under a strict cloak of secrecy and is expected to be key in dissolving Trump’s ‘teflon’ shield and, in turn, his presidency,” EW.com reported.

Moore may have confidence in his latest project, but his track record isn’t very compelling. Sure, “Fahrenheit 9/11” got media attention, but it didn’t take down George W. Bush. Just two years later, the American people elected him for a second term — and with a bigger margin.
