Mexico is apparently still reeling from Donald Trump’s win.
For months, Mexican officials claimed that they would not allow Donald Trump to dictate policy in their country. They said that they would not go back to the table to renegotiate NAFTA, would not change their immigration policies, and would definitely never pay for Trump’s wall.
And besides, they said he was never going to win, anyway.
But he did. And now they seem to be changing their tune. According to France24, Mexico is reportedly making preparations to better equip themselves and their people against a Trump presidency. Naturally, this includes protecting the millions of illegal immigrants that they have sent over their northern border into the United States.
See what protective measures the Mexican government is implementing for Mexican illegal immigrants living in the United States on the next page:

The only way you can help them 1 pay for the wall 2 Pay for the wall
This wouldn’t be a big deal here in the states if so many people weren’t worried about their drug supply and it possibly being disrupted!
If we did that, we would also “absorb” their poverty and debt.

No jobs no welfare they will move home
Joshua Gingerich we already are. Plus we would save tons of money on border patrol, immigration and deportation. We could more easily take action on and prosecute drug cartels and sex traffickers. The criminals own and are protected by the mexican govt (remember all the assassinations?). Additionally anyone may buy land in America yet we are prevented from buying land there.
Rick Lang I don’t know what businesses you think have 70% expenditure in labor but I can tell you for sure it’s not one I’ve ever run or heard of..you need to do the fact checking here..also you act as if we will never see another Mexican again if we deport all of the illegals and we will get every last one of them but remember we have a whole lot of legal Mexicans here and they are the ones with the keys to the restaurant you are so worried about..I would like to know why people like you think an American man with kids and grandkids and a proven love for this country that has run businesses around the world and isn’t a career politician isn’t the right man for president..do you just want free$#%&!@*like most liberals are you afraid of work what vision of the future for this country do you see with 20,000,000,000,000 in debt and a government that wants total control but can’t buy a roll of toilet paper without spending 10 times what you or I would..then throw in a bunch of immigration and give them the same treatment as if they paid into the system..this is supposed to be a civilized country not a free for all..
This is just the protections for Mexican nationals living abroad.
Mexico can quickly and easily take steps to protect their economy that will hurt our workers, stock exchanges, and economy if Trump doesn’t wise up.
I remember Nogales along with the small town I lived in – San Carlos with it’s brand new, but closed airport. I get your point. Your view is optimistic. Shifting one financial drain to support another may not be the answer in this case. However, money talks and bla bla bla.
