Mexico is apparently still reeling from Donald Trump’s win.
For months, Mexican officials claimed that they would not allow Donald Trump to dictate policy in their country. They said that they would not go back to the table to renegotiate NAFTA, would not change their immigration policies, and would definitely never pay for Trump’s wall.
And besides, they said he was never going to win, anyway.
But he did. And now they seem to be changing their tune. According to France24, Mexico is reportedly making preparations to better equip themselves and their people against a Trump presidency. Naturally, this includes protecting the millions of illegal immigrants that they have sent over their northern border into the United States.

Couldn’t actually bring myself to read it. But, stead of putting all this energy into keeping illegal Mexicans here, wouldn’t it be better to put that energy into fixing your own fuc#ing country so your citizens would want to stay there?

The upside of this is that there will be lots of jobs opening up. Will Americans fill them? We shall see soon enough.
Mexico doesn’t want them back, they want other people to take care of their own. It’s shameful how corrupt Mexico is 15th wealthiest country in the world and they can’t take care of their own any better than that.
Shield them from what? Going back to their own country?
If they want to come here so bad maybe we should just absorb Mexico
Don’t take anymore money from the US , handle your business or figure out how we both benefit we need each other we are neighbors.
Is anyone else concerned that a nation is trying assist its own people who fled their country and illegally crossed another country’s border because it was so bad in the other country?
Seems to me like Mexico is gonna work awful hard to keep its citizens in America. Maybe if they worked that hard to keep its people happy and safe in Mexico they wouldn’t be risking their lives across desert wasteland to escape their homeland.
So he’s trying to stop citizens of his country from being there . Kind of a$#%&!@*move really
