Mexico is apparently still reeling from Donald Trump’s win.
For months, Mexican officials claimed that they would not allow Donald Trump to dictate policy in their country. They said that they would not go back to the table to renegotiate NAFTA, would not change their immigration policies, and would definitely never pay for Trump’s wall.
And besides, they said he was never going to win, anyway.
But he did. And now they seem to be changing their tune. According to France24, Mexico is reportedly making preparations to better equip themselves and their people against a Trump presidency. Naturally, this includes protecting the millions of illegal immigrants that they have sent over their northern border into the United States.

Are there that many people that are oblivious to the term illegal aliens? The people that support the idea of sanctuary or amnesty for them are not the one’s busting their butts to provide for THEIR own families.
So basically, they are clarifying the exemption under the 14th Amendment that defines birthright citizenship as to any person born in the United States “not under the jurisdiction of another nation” meaning that those here illegally are under the jurisdiction of the Mexican government and therefore their children do not have a right to U.S. citizenship, correct? If the Mexican government is shielding their citizens that are here illegally, then those people are also under the jurisdiction of the Mexican government.
Mexico better stop trying to play games, it won’t end well for them. They have had the cushion of lighting Mexico responsibilities, those days are gone, not anymore.
