Mexico is apparently still reeling from Donald Trump’s win.
For months, Mexican officials claimed that they would not allow Donald Trump to dictate policy in their country. They said that they would not go back to the table to renegotiate NAFTA, would not change their immigration policies, and would definitely never pay for Trump’s wall.
And besides, they said he was never going to win, anyway.
But he did. And now they seem to be changing their tune. According to France24, Mexico is reportedly making preparations to better equip themselves and their people against a Trump presidency. Naturally, this includes protecting the millions of illegal immigrants that they have sent over their northern border into the United States.

If the Mexican government were this active in helping their own citizens while they were still in Mexico, they may never have come north in the first place.

I don’t care to hurt Mexico. I don’t care to see Mexico hurt. What I REALLY do not care to see is MORE moochers crossing the borders, being leeches sucking OUR lifeblood in the form of welfare. This is OUR country. Non-citizens HAVE NO RIGHT to vote in OUR elections, any more than foreigners can vote in Mexican elections. We need to apply the SAME restrictions on immigration and land ownership that Mexico has implemented against foreign presence; in other words, reciprocate in all policies.
Of course on the other hand they could just go back to Mexico. As I recall the Mexican govt threatened to call them all home if Trump. That statement alone makes them implicit in breaking our law by suggesting they sent them in the first place.
