Mexico is apparently still reeling from Donald Trump’s win.
For months, Mexican officials claimed that they would not allow Donald Trump to dictate policy in their country. They said that they would not go back to the table to renegotiate NAFTA, would not change their immigration policies, and would definitely never pay for Trump’s wall.
And besides, they said he was never going to win, anyway.
But he did. And now they seem to be changing their tune. According to France24, Mexico is reportedly making preparations to better equip themselves and their people against a Trump presidency. Naturally, this includes protecting the millions of illegal immigrants that they have sent over their northern border into the United States.

why would anyone who was desperate enough to leave mother and father and wife and kids to go to a foreign language-speaking land where he’s not legally wanted (even though he’s needed) to work mostly crappy jobs would wanna have anything to do with the government which created those circumstances that caused him to leave in the first place?
I’ve heard it said on here before and I agree. Mexico should keep their plan and their drug money and their citizen and use it in their own country. Also, Americans should find other places to spend their vacations.

Mexico, if you really want to help your citizens, stop the cronyism, break the monopolies, free the markets from the shackles of heavy taxation and regulation, promote entrepreneurism and fair competition, let the markets make their own decisions, in other words, do what America did (and sadly is getting away from) to attract the risk takers, the hard workers, the visionaries, the very people you’re losing and the greatest country on earth doesn’t seem to want.
