The Michigan city of Hamtramck elected a new city council in 2015, and with it they ushered in the first Muslim majority city council in America. Within moments of winning the city’s election, an organizer involved in the government takeover was caught making ominous threats against non-Muslims in the city.
This warning is no doubt troubling in its own right, but becomes even more unsettling when one pairs the comment with recent polling that suggests what Muslims would do should they take over any facet of government. Over half reject the first amendment, while 46% want blasphemers punished. 12% percent would even like to see those who commit blasphemy killed outright.
People with these views against the freedom of speech and religion in our country have no role in our government. If they city council of Hamtramck wanted to distance themselves from these statistics, they sure haven’t shown it.

I live in northern Michigan Patricia believe me this whole state is not Muslim they are minority here I live in a fairly large city and I can honestly say I’ve never seen women covered up like they do and there’s no sharia law here Detroit is absolutely not all of Michigan . I worry about it tho look at Germany scary stuff but there’s millions here in Michigan that will not put up with a takeover , millions! Kinda sucks to be put in the same light as some politicians that care more about votes than the safety of their own people
What would you suggest?? Would you go out and start killing people? I live in northern Michigan and Detroit is a whole world away from here and I will defend my family and my home if it comes to it .not everyone here in Michigan goes along with that Muslim c**p!
That is good to hear but I do have a friend that lives in Lansing and she is trying to move and I have another friend that says Minneapolis is getting more dangerous with the Somali refugees…I am so glad that you and the people that live there will never let this happen, it gives us a great peace of mind to hear this!!!

Jane Scruggs, it always starts out quiet. Then when they get your confidence, they get another city, then a state, then the country. Until finally, you and everyone you care about are expendable second class citizens. But if you want to bury your head in the sand, go right on ahead.
