A slow and sad death may be occurring for McDonald’s across the United States, as franchise owners say that, “Probably 30% of operators are insolvent.” The CEO is lacking consistent leadership, owners say, and his decisions are creating an ongoing “deep depression” for these restaurants, as they “jump from one failed initiate to another.
More on page two about the demise of McDonald’s.
Any given moment I drive by McDonalds and see a line out to the road even with their two lane drive through. I don’t see that anywhere else.
33 years, still here.
quality of their food ,AGAIN, quality, dirty restaurants and bad help (labor cost factor)
I’ve went to McD’s and my fries were like left over end cuts… Where’s the tater McD ?
Solution — put out a mushroom swiss burger people can afford, like Rally’s does.
They lost their Brand. McDonalds was once a traditional family place to go. Remember the great family commercials in the 80’s and 90’s but PC took over and this is the outcome. Compare McDonalds to CFA Standards, quality of food, hiring, safety, and not afraid to take a stand. Good bye McDonalds you were once an American icon. The Golden Arches
Food quality is poor service is poor and prices higher than they should be and they wonder why no one is buying
It’s simple. McDonald’s, a true American icon and success story, was completely and fiercely railroaded by the PC train and it’s millions of mindless occupants. They caved, subsequently realizing the very real possibility of their demise. If they had just stood tall, continued with the ORIGINAL menu, utilizing the original styro-foam vessels and frying their fries in beef tallow, not only would they still be here, they would be running like an out of control train. Nothing, I mean nothing would have stopped America’s continued patronage. Not Michael Moore, PETA or any wacko off the wall freakish group. And further more, another real factor for their decline is the continued use of the most ridiculous slogan ever, “i’m Lovin’ It.”
Meh, their food is garbage anyways, that an taco bell, never agree with me any more, atleast when j eat Burger I just feel fat, not like I’m going to die
Sorry Henry, while much of what you said is true, the original wrappers they used were NOT styrofoam (which is what their food tastes like now). The ingredients they choose to use are not killed by government regulation but by the choices their own management makes. Fda inspected and handled food doesn’t kill the flavor, it makes it safer.
It’s their corporate greed to choose poor ingredients.
In Italy they advertise they use Italian beef.
