Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had some interesting things to say when asked about Donald Trump’s suggested Muslim Immigration ban on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday. When asked about the Republican frontrunner’s plan to temporarily stop Muslim immigration into the United States, should he be elected, McConnell said that the Senate would never act on it.
During his response, he brought up some interesting things, saying that it would also prevent certain foreign leaders from being able to come to the United States. Among those leaders, he named the president of Afghanistan and the King of Jordan, both people that Trump probably wouldn’t want here anyway.
You can watch McConnell’s comments in the player on the next page.
But yet if you take Trump’s name off of the same question 45% need more of the Democrats vote forit
Mitchy baby, you don’t know squat. If a REAL leader were in charge, the senate would be of some use…as it is now, it’s TOTALLY WORTHLESS! …and that includes you Mitchy boy!
Oh really! You vote on everything else !
i think the repugs have to stop and take a good look at what they doing to their party
He forgets most of them will be voted out in November, if we ain’t under martial law by then.
All of Congress needs to be replaced !!!
Oh McConnell: The Senate would not act on anything worthwhile that would do the country some good. Look at the WH mess.
they don’t act on anything else either unless it’s for OBUMMER! Vote Them Out
Actually McConnell doesn’t speak for a FEW of the Senate. I think he speaks for the Democrats.
You will be gone or removed traitor! So dont worry about it
