McConnell: The Senate Would Not Act On Trump’s Banning Of Muslims

Ever since making his intentions to temporarily ban Muslim immigration into the United States known, Donald Trump has received all sorts of criticism from people on both sides of the aisle.

The saddest part about all of this is that in the wake all of these terrorist attacks, even if you don’t agree with Trump, he’s shown that Americans aren’t willing to do what needs to be done to protect themselves and America’s future. They’re more concerned with political correctness and not offending people.

In the video below, you can see Mitch McConnell (R-KY) confidently tell Jack Tapper that the Senate would never follow through with Trump’s immigration ban. While he does bring up some valid points, the key word that everybody keeps forgetting is “temporary”. If the past few months have shown anything about Trump’s character its that he never says anything without a plan to back it up.

McConnell wouldn’t weigh in on the presidential race. While he claimed to hope it’s a Republican, the way he refused to use Trump’s name certainly shows that he hopes it’s not Donald.
