While millions of our nation's entitled youth participate in the Million Student March in an attempt to get “free” tuition for higher education, a United States Marine destroyed their movement in a single tweet.
James Erickson is not unlike the students participating in the organized protest. He, too, wanted to find a way to pay for his education. However, unlike the other million or so participating in the #MillionStudentMarch on Twitter, Erickson found a way to do it on his own: Join the Marines.
Erickson posted photo of himself and his fellow marines hiking through the outdoors on the social networking site. Accompanying the photo was the caption, “I wanted money for school, so I marched too… #millionstudentmarch This one was about 25 miles… #USMC”
Erickson is truly an example of the American way. Work for what you want, and you will find success. It just goes to show what kind of great men we have in our Marines, compared to the entitled children we raise in some of our nation's schools.
