As the Democrats desperately try to conjure up a scandal to derail the Trump administration, real perpetrators of corrupt activities go free. It’s a miscarriage of justice in a nation that wishes to march under the banner of “equal protection under the laws.”
Cynics that we often are, the idea that everyone will be treated equally by the justice system is considered more of a fairy tale than the stuff of reality. It all seems like George Washington and the cherry tree — not the sort of thing to be taken seriously.
