James’s parents claim that this was a stupid prank performed by a stupid kid, which makes sense considering that he turned himself in. Though the entire situation is about as funny as it is shocking, it seems to be nothing more than an act of idiocy.
During his court appearance on Tuesday, a judge ordered James to stay away from all Wendy’s and to avoid contact with all animals except for his mother’s dog. The alligator is said to be fine and was released into the wild.
