Man Breaks Into Woman’s Home And Takes Confederate Flag, Assaulting Her In The Process

Boatner reportedly began calling the woman names and an arguemnet ensued with the woman telling Boatner that he doesn’t pay her rent. He responded by breaking into her home, throwing her down on her kitchen floor and stealing her flag, according to the criminal complaint.

While the officer talked with Boatner he became “extremely argumentative” and walked away from him.

During the arrest, the officer told Boatner to put his hands behind his back, but he resisted and pulled his hands away to keep the officer from getting his hands. Once Boatner was handcuffed, he continued to be loud and refused to follow the officer’s orders. Another officer had to help spread Boatner’s feet apart so that he could be searched for weapons. Officers also had to forcefully push Boatner into the wagon to transport him to jail and he kicked his feet against the door to prevent it from closing.

A $100 cash bond was set for Boatner, who is expected to have a pre-trial conference at 3:15 p.m. Sept. 10 in front of Racine County Circuit Court Judge Charles Constantine.
