Maine Democrat Gets Caught in Threat Against President, Backtracks With Weak Apology

While airing his hatred of the president and the president’s supporters, Hamann managed to salute his messiah, Barack Obama, by saying the former president “ran quite possibly the classiest 2 term presidency in US history.”

That bizarre statement simply cements the impression that Hamann is a few sandwiches short of a picnic. Certainly, his Facebook post shows a total lack of comprehension as to what constitutes “class.”

In his testy exchange with radio host Keith Hanson, an alleged friend, the state representative experienced a total meltdown:

Well then f*ck you, snowflake. You’re a f*cking p*ssy … See, it’s not only Trump supporters who can talk like complete a**holes. As long as that’s what’s coming out of that side, then I’ll match you dumb f*cks word for word. Trump is a half term president, at most, especially if I ever get within 10 feet of that p*ssy.

Somewhere, Mother Hamann is searching for a bar of soap.

Anyone with a basic understanding of English can recognize a threat to kill the president in Hamann’s outlandish boast. His rant also included claiming that President Trump was “installed by the Russians” and is “an admitted rapist.”

Maine GOP chairman Demi Kouzounas demanded Maine House Speaker Sara Gideon look into the situation and take firm action.

I not only call on, but demand that Speaker Sara Gideon actually do something about her unethical and radicalized caucus. Is this language and behavior that she is willing to accept from Democrat Representatives?”

When Hanson shared the Facebook exchange and the Hamann comments broke into the media, the deranged Democrat doubled down on his hostile behavior.

If your feelings were hurt by a conversation between two friends, then don’t read. And if anything negative comes from your attack on my employment, my attorney will be in touch. Cease and desist.”

Once the news hit Twitter, the social media site exploded in calls for the Secret Service to spring into action and investigate the obvious threat.

The federal agency has declined official comment, but did acknowledge being aware of the situation and indicated it was looking into the matter.

As a result, Hamann has now issued a half-hearted apology of sorts:

While the tone of the post was born out of frustration with the vile language currently surrounding politics, I should not have responded with the same language. This is not language I typically use, it does not reflect my personal values, and while misguided, it was intended to make a visceral point about the developing political discourse in America.”

He further noted he regretted “my impulsive decision to post something aggressively sarcastic and inappropriate in a Facebook exchange with a childhood friend.”

Translating his stereotypical progressive statement: “I regret I got caught.”

The Hamann outburst comes at a time when the Democrat Party at the national, state and local levels appears to be infected with an epidemic of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). There is no known cure and symptoms include: becoming highly irrational and delusional; wishing harm to come to the President of the United States; and showing no respect for the legitimate outcome of fairly held elections.

Once again, social media has proven a vehicle for exposing people’s true feelings and behaviors.
