Maddow went on to point her finger at Republicans, claiming that it’s their fault for putting him in a position to be president. That’s kind of like how it’s the fault of Democrats for putting Hillary Clinton in position to be president.
“What is amazing is the Republican Party that picked him. They had 330 million people to choose from, and they’ve decided that he is the best one to be the standard-bearer of one of the two major parties of the greatest nation on Earth,” Maddow told the magazine in an interview published Tuesday.
“Like, talk to me, Republican voters! What’s the worst-case scenario for America if he wins? It can be pretty bad. You don’t have to go back far in history to get to almost apocalyptic scenarios.”
And if Hillary would have been elected president? You want to talk about apocalyptic scenarios, imagine a world where illegal immigrants have taken over America, terrorists walks through our front doors, and Americans just give up because they don’t want to offend their new “friends”. Maddow must be preparing herself for Trump’s presidency the same way she prepared herself to be a woman, by looking at the wrong examples.
