James Comey was once again in a closed-door session with members of Congress in a private conversation with members of the investigating panel to go into further detail about his interactions with then Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
According to Circa, unnamed sources are quoted in a variety of ways that show that Comey went behind closed doors to open up to Congress members about a specific meeting he had with Lynch over her tarmac tea party with Bill Clinton.
The Washington Post had suggested late last month that a Russian fake document in the form of an email was the entire reason for Comey’s meeting with Lynch. In the story by the Leftist rag, they suggest that Comey was duped into a succession of moves that appeared random and flailing, when in fact they were due to the information contained in this fake email document. According to assertions by the Washington Post, the Russians created an email that showed Debbie Wasserman-Schultz communicating with an unnamed third party who was part of the Clinton campaign.
The thrust of the email was a tacit understanding between the Justice Department and the Clinton campaign that, at no time, would the DOJ investigate too deeply into the email server scandal. The understanding is that Loretta Lynch was reassuring Clinton campaign officials, “Don’t you worry your pretty little heads about this whole FBI investigation. Bill and I have already had a conversation about this and we’re all on board. This will not go any further than an investigation. I’ve already told Director Comey to stand down.”
This email, according to Washington Post “sources,” has already been branded a “dubious” piece of evidence and “most likely” a plant by the Russians.
Oh, my God! “Most likely?” Are these people kidding? Here we go again. A report about the Russians from “unnamed sources” who are “very close to the investigation” who “believe” that the information came from the Kremlin. Can we be any more unsure and vague about this?
I’m sorry, but this is getting ridiculous. The entire Russia-Collusion story fell apart before it ever had legs. Now the Russia-Cyber Hack story is falling apart. So, what do we have left? The Russians pamphleted the FBI with fake emails?
This is a real desperate move on the part of the Leftist media. They are so invested in this Russia nonsense that they’re now inventing ways to excuse the ridiculous haphazard actions of the FBI! It boggles the mind that we are still sitting Comey down in a chair and asking, “How did you feel when Donald Trump wouldn’t stop tweeting about you?”

Take this series of statements. Keep in mind that nothing said here is ACTUALLY what happened. Remember that everything you’re about to read is not fact. It is apparently what MAY HAVE HAPPENED and was attested to by people WHO WERE NOT IN THE ROOM BEHIND THESE CLOSED DOORS!
In multiple private sessions over the last few months, Comey has told lawmakers about a second, later confrontation with Lynch shortly before the email probe was shut down.
Comey told lawmakers in the close door session that he raised his concern with the attorney general that she had created a conflict of interest by meeting with Clinton’s husband, the former President Bill Clinton, on an airport tarmac while the investigation was ongoing.
During the conversation, Comey told lawmakers he confronted Lynch with a highly sensitive piece of evidence, a communication between two political figures that suggested Lynch had agreed to put the kibosh on any prosecution of Clinton.
Comey said “the attorney general looked at the document then looked up with a steely silence that lasted for some time, then asked him if he had any other business with her and if not that he should leave her office,” said one source who was briefed.
What the hell is this? An episode of CSI: Special Victims Unit? Oh, my Lord, this is about the most undependable information I’ve ever seen in any “investigative” findings of a Congressional body. There’s never anything concrete. There’s never anything with teeth. It’s a bunch of smoke and mirrors designed to make us disregard the fact that the other hand of the government is quietly slipping something into a pocket that contains the ACTUAL REAL information.
If we’re to believe that all this time where thousands of man(woman) hours of investigation into this Russia crap and millions of dollars of taxpayer money has literally boiled down to a meeting that supposedly took place and “may have gone something like this” as part of a legitimate investigation with absolutely nothing to show, isn’t it just respectful to the American people funding this playground justice to wrap it all up and toss it in the garbage?
I don’t know about you, but if we don’t start complaining about a colossal waste of money that this sophomoric display of whisper-down-the-lane is, we’re setting ourselves up for a very long, drawn-out dog-and-pony show where the dog is dead and the pony is a jackass!
It’s time to start looking where the actual smoke is rising: the Department of Homeland Security.

Senator Grassley, your help for senior citizens is admirable, however, in your posts below this one states that you have some degree of hearing loss. That’s ok, many of us do also.
Is your heating loss the problem that you did not hear Mr. Comey, Mr. Rogers and many other witnesses under sworn testimony state that President Trump was NEVER under any Russian investigation ? That there is, after one year of probing absolutely no evidence of Russian ties nor change of the outcome of the Presidential election ?
Did you hear Mr. Comey state that he expected to be fired for the Clinton investigation fiasco where the FBI found her guilty of many felonies but decided to take the law into his own hands and not prosecute her anyway knowing how he hurt the credibility of the FBI and our judicial system ?
Something smells bad in Washington. Real bad.
Mr. Comey fully admitted that he is the dangerous leak putting our country in danger by leaking information to his professor friend to leak to the press in order for a special prosecutor to be appointed. That is blatant manipulation.
On top of that Comey picked the special prosecutor to investigate for Russian interference in our election. He picked his buddy, Mueller, who himself has ties to Russia in the Clinton Uranium deal. Mueller negotiated the dirty deal…. did you know that ?
On top of that Mueller has picked for his team only Clinton supporters and donors ? Did you know that ?
If there is no Russian connection between them and the President…. why do we need a special prosecutor who is already himself leaking that he is expanding his scope of the investigation to include obstruction of justice of our President which Mr. Comey stated that he was not ordered at any time to stop his investigations.
This, sir, is a kangaroo court and is Not what our country is all about….we the people, voted for Donald Trump to lead our county.
We did not elect rouge liberal judges, any branch or individual of Congress, the FBI, or anyone else to lead our country. We elected Donald Trump to clean up the far too longstanding corruption in Washington and elsewhere in our governing body…

Those of us who don’t watch MSM because we don’t care what some pundits opinion is know that we can reason for ourselves especially when this is the 13 th President in our lifetime remember what this country used to be like and truly miss those days.
Washington was a much more productive body when all elected government people lived in the area and worked, lived and raised their families together instead of a visit once in a while of a bunch of literal strangers.
