David Letterman’s 33-year run on late-night television was marked by his acerbic sense of humor.
Upon retiring in 2015, he’s undergone a metamorphosis into someone almost unrecognizable from the more comedic guy people watched on the “Late Show with David Letterman”.
He’s grown a full beard, which coupled with his balding head, makes him look like a guy wanting to moonlight as a department store Santa Claus.
But beneath that kindly-looking exterior lurks a clearly bitter and troubled man, as evidenced by recent nasty remarks about President Donald Trump.
It’s spelled out on the next page. See how the funny guy seems to have lost his sense of humor.

Letterman is not to smart
Always has, always was and always will be, an unfunny$#%&!@*
Hey David you never did Get Johnny Carson spot
Pitiful that this is funniest thing he ever said!!!
Letterman never was funny, but he is a libhead.
When a Democrat President makes a practice of reducing freedoms without the consent of Congress, through his phone and pen, the Letterman’s of the world are complacent. But when a Republican starts to undo that Democrats dictatorial actions using the same pen or the consent of Congress, you hear screams of dictatorship! I say we were much closer then, than we are now!
I think he may have always been “bitter and troubled”. I think a lot of comedians have a darkness in them.
Jagoff
Stopped watching him some years ago when he became so nasty. Always highly partisan, Dems are great, republicans are idiots!
And no one cares what u say. Shave that ugly beard.
