Brunne does not like that the Swedes (her own people whom she despises as much as Angela Merkel despises her own people) are attempting to curtail this wave of terror-prone people and ridiculed them in a Church address, basically alienating them from the church forever.
Her mere promotion to this position of power was one that was vehemently opposed by the leaders in the Lutheran establishment. Five Anglican bishops, including the then-Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, declined the invitation to attend the ceremony, as did the representatives of the Lutheran World Federation and the churches of Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Archbishop Anders Wejryd (who consecrated Brunne) denied that the clergy of the Church of England was boycotting the ceremony.
Now, the bishop has ordered the creation of a handbook for the Church; one that basically tells the congregation of 6.1M people all over Europe that they no longer can trust in the word of the Holy Bible. It is flawed and it is imperfect. Why? Because she said so. And to ensure that people begin obeying her order, she has handed down this edict that no longer will priests who lead prayer refer to God, the Father Almighty as that. In fact, HE is NOT a He, as far as she’s concerned. God will no longer be referred to as Lord, the Father, nor will the Holy Trinity be known as the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost.
This sort of gender pronouncements are exclusionary and they are biased. Therefore, in the eyes of this Progressive bishop, Christians who have been worshipping this book for more than 2,000 years better get with the times because the Holy Bible is being redacted and revised!
The Church of Sweden has voted to adopt a controversial new handbook which says masculine references to God, such as “He” and “Lord” should be scrapped so as to be more “inclusive”.
Despite heavy criticism from organisations including Royal Swedish Academy, on Thursday the church approved the new handbook with a large majority.
The Church Handbook — which was last updated in 1986 — sets out how services, baptisms, weddings and funerals should be conducted, in language, liturgy, theology and music, and is therefore central to the church’s activities.
According to local media, many priests have objected to directions in the new handbook regarding language, which have been added with the goal of making the church “more inclusive”.
This includes instructing clergy to refer to God in a gender-neutral fashion, without “unnecessarily” using the male pronoun “He”, or terms like “Lord”.
God should be referred to as “Mother” as well as “Father” in some prayers, according to guidelines in the manual, which gives the following as an example:
“God, Holy Trinity, Father and Mother, Son – Sister and Brother, and Spirit – Lifeguard and Inspirator, lead us to your depths of wealth, wisdom and knowledge”.
Speaking after the vote to adopt the new handbook passed, Mikael Löwegren, commissioner for the church in Småland Ljungby, said the decision signifies that the Swedish Church has “ceased to exist as a coherent spiritual community”.
“Under the guise of ‘diversity’, society is being broken down into different groups,” he said, asserting that there are “so many alternatives and optional variants” included in the new manual that “it will be hard to claim this is the same church from parish to parish”.
Highlighting language guidelines recommending God be presented in a gender-neutral fashion, Löwegren also warned that the new manual “takes the Church of Sweden further away from the major churches instead of bringing it closer to them.”
“Christianity’s most basic doctrine holds that there is a triune God — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,” he pointed out, adding that the new guidebook “throws away the progress made by the church through in-depth ecumenical dialogue, and brings in a new worship system that is both anti-ecumenical and anti-science.”

Why would anyone want to change what is was and always will be the way the TRUTH and the life because it is perfect and some people can’t handle the truth but I pray everyone involved in this corrupt bs sees the possibility of this being an absurd request or suggestion if not may god be with us all and may I add Lord help us
What is wrong with people? This lesbian Bishop, and I am stating it this was because the article does, removed crosses and crucifixes to prevent Muslims from being offended. Don’t Muslims have their own place of worship? Why is it that people just cannot leave well enough alone? Why do people have to specifically cater to Muslims? If a Muslim wishes to worship in a house of the Lord whether it be Lutheran, Catholic, Methodist, Protestant, or any other religion that worships crosses and crucifixes then that is their right and there is no need to remove any of the symbols. If the Muslims do get offended then leave. They have Mecca’s to worship in, why should people change their ways of living to accommodate for them. I for one will not and there is not a damn thing anyone can nor do to change that.
Maybe someday you can debate this with God. Of course you likely won’t have the protection of the PC monitors so luck on that one.
Seems like it’s time for those to find a better church!

Many homosexuals have given their hearts to Jesus…We must continue to pray for God to open their eyes… that is what reprobate means..they really think they were alright… the devil is a lie.
Even at the very beginning of time, Satan tried to question God’s Word when Satan was tempting Eve. Later, when Satan tried to tempt Jesus, he took Scripture out of context and tried to twist and trip Jesus Christ Himself. This person seems to think she is holier than God, and what her church is doing keeping her on as bishop says something poor about that blind church.
She doesn’t want to offend Muslims? That will be impossible for two reasons…
1. She’s a lesbian
2. She claims to be a Christian
Both of those things will not only offend muslims, but may get her killed by them.
I will not judge, only God has that right, and everyone has to answer to him, no matter what man thinks or puts into their minds as right. After all Eve shared the apple with Adam, now look at the position we are in. So in the end it matters not what I think is right or wrong, God will take care of that.
