This week, French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen promised strict border controls after the latest terrorist attack in France. Her statement also called for Islamist mosques to be closed and “preachers of hate” to be “expelled” from the country.
She isn’t the first European politician to call for the closing of Islamist mosques, but she’s certainly the most prominent.
