During an interview with Joy Reid on MSNBC Thursday, if Trump doesn’t win the election, they’re going to see taco trucks on every corner. While he loves his people, he knows how dominant his culture can be. And should Hillary get elected, the number of illegal peoples in America is bound to skyrocket.
“What problems are you talking about?” Reid asked him.
“My culture is a very dominant culture,” Gutierrez responded. “And it’s imposing, and it’s causing problems. If you don’t do something about it, you’re going to have taco trucks [on] every corner.”
In this case, the needs of the many outweigh the few, and unlike most hispanic people, Gutierrez recognizes this problem. What liberal policy makers and their supporters really need to understand is that Trump’s stance has nothing to do with racism and everything to do with the future of America. Why should people be rewarded for breaking the law. They say times are tough in Mexico. Times are tough in America. And a nation should look after it’s own people before opening the flood gates for others.
