The Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park, a few miles down the road from Old Faithful geyser is the subject of much attention lately.  Volcanologists, geologists and other members of the Earth sciences are descending on this most beautiful and deadly spring to study something that cannot even be seen on the surface of the planet:  the supervolcano.
