When Donald Trump secured the Republican nomination, Barack Obama probably thought that his legacy was secure. The man everyone said could not win was going up against Hillary Clinton, the woman who pledged to keep Obama’s legacy intact.
Unfortunately for Obama, almost everyone got it wrong. Donald Trump won big in November, and now eight years of Obama-era regulations are set to be dismantled under the new president-elect.
But Obama isn’t giving up. Despite having warned Trump to not over-use executive orders, the lame duck president is now using all the power at his disposal to keep Trump from undoing his fragile legacy.
Obama’s latest last-minute power-grab has to do with offshore drilling. Trump may have campaigned on a promise to make America more energy independent, but if Obama gets his way, he may not be able to.

THE SALARY DOSENT ADD UP. A HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS IN VACATION COSTS. AND WE STILL ARE NOT SURE IF HE WAS BORN IN AMERICA.
Obama’s every move while in office has been destructive to our economy,our security,our general way of life and our constitution.
Each and every thing he has done needs to be reversed to send a strong message to other wannabe dictators.

And Hillary is also a big fan of the author of Rules for Radical, she wrote a 92-page senior thesis about Saul Alinsky entitled “There Is Only the Fight . . . : An Analysis of the Alinsky Model.” Her role model, apparently.

There is something called the Tenth Amendment which is in a nutshell, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” This means if the Constitution doesn’t directly say the President has the authority to do something, then he can’t. The Constitution doesn’t give any President the authority to make laws. The Tenth Amendment was instituted in the Bill of Rights to ensure that the federal government would ONLY EXERCISE THE POWERS THAT WERE STATED AS PERMISSIBLE in the Constitution. All other powers that are not directly referred to in the United States Constitution were delivered to the individual states. What that means is a President CANNOT make EO’s because they are LAWS. They are unconstitutional. To quote you, “Some people are just not very smart.”

But why are foreign countries being allowed to drill offshore? Doesn’t America count first? After all we are talking about our shorelines.
Maybe Trump can just enforce the laws on this like Obama enforced the laws on immigration?
