When Donald Trump secured the Republican nomination, Barack Obama probably thought that his legacy was secure. The man everyone said could not win was going up against Hillary Clinton, the woman who pledged to keep Obama’s legacy intact.
Unfortunately for Obama, almost everyone got it wrong. Donald Trump won big in November, and now eight years of Obama-era regulations are set to be dismantled under the new president-elect.
But Obama isn’t giving up. Despite having warned Trump to not over-use executive orders, the lame duck president is now using all the power at his disposal to keep Trump from undoing his fragile legacy.
Obama’s latest last-minute power-grab has to do with offshore drilling. Trump may have campaigned on a promise to make America more energy independent, but if Obama gets his way, he may not be able to.

With POTUS, Congress, and the Senate finally starting to listen to someone besides the far left lunatic fringe, this country can finally start getting its$#%&!@*back together…..no more low paying, no benefit, part time jobs being touted as job creation. An in crease in workforce participation, etc….when you look at the true economic numbers over the last few years, liberal Democrat policies have been rapidly turning this country into the latest 3rd world country. Old news is no news. America is on course to energy independence W/O additional drilling in sensitive environmental areas. Coal is thankfully becoming obsolete.
That can be reversed as well.
Obama has not seen himself as President as much as dictator or King. He has refused during his entire tenure to go through normal channels. He insists on ruling by fiat the rest of the process and the country be dammed! He has made an art of abusing his position and power. Meanwhile, he has totally ignored real and important security concerns.
