Kremlin Confirms No Collusion

This afternoon, Reuters reported that the Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, released a statement that he was in possession of no knowledge or evidence of knowledge regarding a link between the United States and Russia, in particular, as it pertained to the Trump campaign for the presidency.

Direct contacts between the White House and the Kremlin have not been established since U.S. President Donald Trump took office, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.

“Contacts at the level of the administrations are not taking place at the moment, there haven’t been any yet, such contacts are yet to be established,” Peskov told a conference call with reporters.

“Routine diplomatic work is underway, our embassy in Washington is functioning, they are in constant contact with their counterparts in the State Department.”

This report amounts to just about nothing as far as the Left is concerned.  For them, they regard the Russians as the equivalent of an enemy that helped to expose their candidate and her terribly inept abilities to contain scandals, fire up her own base without the help of Beyoncé, and keeping a lid on her special interest interferences abroad, especially when it came to the Clinton Family Crime Foundation.  The Left does not look kindly at anything issuing from the Kremlin these days.  It is virtually impossible for the Russians to be portrayed in the MSM as anything other than a villain.  The only thing that could change that perception overnight would be an admission that they have, in fact, colluded with the White House.  Then, and only then, would they be considered as part of the club once again, recalling the special relationship they had once upon a time with Hillary as she bore baskets of Uranium and Obama as he whispered reassurances that he’d be able to screw the United States a lot more effectively once George Soros bought his reelection.

Time will tell, but it appears as if the MSM is beginning to get the message that, “the Russians did it!” is just not holding vodka.

“Nostrovia!”
