“Know the Enemy:” 11 Revealing Quotes From Vladimir Putin

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to Russia is like the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to the United States.  In fact, many believe (and I’m one of them) that the SCO is the very Beast talked about in Revelations.  I have been researching this group for close to a year and it seems more and more clear that they are the next premiere power in the world.

That being said, Russia, being one of five original creators of the SCO, has a special place for NATO…and that would be the garbage heap.  Putin is not a fan of NATO and with good reason.  That’s not to say that NATO isn’t one of the only things standing in the way of an all-out war by both conglomerates, but there are issues inside NATO nearly as convoluted and disrupting as those within the embattled European Union.

On NATO:  There is no more Soviet Union, no Eastern Bloc. In my view, NATO needs an external enemy to justify its existence, so there is a constant search for one, and provocations to create adversaries where there are none.

…Today it is an instrument of American foreign policy. There are no partners in it, only vassals.”

TRANSLATION:  It doesn’t matter if we go to war or we sneeze in their direction, NATO is going to blame us for famine or plague.  They exist only because the US has convinced all the rubes who occupy its offices that a Russian bogeyman hides behind every ushanka ready to usurp free elections and disrupt their internet service.

It is obvious that he bears a huge grudge toward an organization that has spent the better part of half a century attempting to paint Russia as the big bad adversary and Europe as pure as the driven snow.
