Kellyanne Conway Calls Out Anderson Cooper for Rolling His Eyes at Her

Kellyanne Conway endured a huffy, angry, eye-rolling Anderson Cooper on his show in an interview he performed with the Counselor to the U.S. President and the resulting viral video clips of the episode were a topic of discussion on Fox & Friends the next day.  Conway spoke her thoughts about the interview.

“Let me tell you something…Hillary Clinton is in search of sexism as a lame excuse as to why her disastrous candidacy and campaign lost six months ago.  I face sexism a lot of times when I show up for interviews like that.  Could you imagine rolling your eyes, having a male anchor from the network roll eyes at Hillary Clinton, at somebody, a female representative/spokeswoman for President Obama or President Bill Clinton?  I think not.  So – and of course it went viral…”

Conway is absolutely right and, unfortunately, her argument falls on deaf Liberal ears.  Understand that Leftists who stand for women’s rights ONLY stand for Liberal women’s rights, those who are enslaved by the very system that purports to respect and highlight them.  If a woman doesn’t toe the Liberal line, she is delegated to the Progressive kitchen, barefoot and barren.  There is no platform for women who are Conservative, Republican, or even Moderate for that matter.  There’s a good reason why Liberals do not stand up against the true misogyny of the Islamic extremists.  There’s a good reason why female Pro-Life advocates are not permitted into the Democrat’s closed tent of women’s issues.

There is a pervasive hatred of Conservative women that goes beyond just the politics.  Similar in nature to the reasons why the Left hate and denigrate Conservative Blacks, delegating them to the back of the Progressive bus, quiet and subservient.  These groups are not represented in a sexist, racist environment where the only thing that matters is that you show up in formation in the morning, baseball bats, bullhorns and bullet points locked and loaded for the riot to come.  Women and African-Americans have no voice in the Leftist circles.  Only those that profess to be the close-minded Fascist zombies that roam the streets in search of a brain.

Later on Fox News’ The Five, the guest and the hosts bantered back and forth about the Conway-Cooper interview.  This exchange was interesting:

FAULKNER:  I just don’t think it’s a good look for Anderson as a journalist to be rolling his eyes at anybody, but let alone a woman who’s doing the job for the first time of any administration and the role that she plays so close to the president.  I just don’t think that’s a good side-by-side look for you, Anderson.

HUNTSMAN:  Maybe he thought his glasses were covering the eye-rolling…Would this ever have happened under an Obama administration with his spokespeople?  Because I always try to compare the two and it’s almost like people in this industry in the media have lost total respect for the office of the presidency when you have the spokespeople on their shows, they feel like they have the right to treat them this way.  They might disagree with them.  Clearly, most of them do all the time.  But there’s a certain amount of respect, isn’t there, for the office of the presidency that we don’t see today anymore.

In this same clip, there’s a definite disrespect for the president.  When Cooper asks Conway a question and quickly cuts off her response with this:

COOPER:  So that person doesn’t exist anymore?  Candidate Donald Trump?  That’s a fictional character we are no longer allowed to refer to?  We can now only refer to the Donald Trump who exists today?

CONWAY:  Anderson, I’ll ignore how unkind that is and all I’ll say is, as President of the United States, he’s lost confidence in his FBI director and he doesn’t have it.

Cooper, who has endured much of the same discriminatory remarks for his being gay, should man up and understand that picking on a woman (whether or not you’re a gay man) is not masculine.  It never looks good to be misogynistic toward anyone, whether you’re Left of the Left Coast or you’re on the Right.

Misogyny and sexism goes both ways.  And unfortunately for Anderson Cooper, being a card-carrying Liberal doesn’t shield him from being a disrespectful Jackass (from the Democrat Party, that is).
