Kelly and McMaster Omit Vital Information About Collision of Ships

The collision between the USS John McCain and the commercial oil tanker has become yet another flashpoint for President Trump.  In the current modern-day tradition of the Fake News Industrial Complex (FNIC), any news that can be shaped, formed and twisted to have a negative connotation for the president is headline news.

For the Chief of Staff and the National Security Advisor, this may be a very small mistake on their part.  As far as any of them would be concerned, especially if this was, say, Barack Hussein Obama, this story wouldn’t rate a blip on the radar of scandalous material.  But with the election of Donald Trump, every single moment in the White House is one fraught with danger and landmines at every step of the way.

When Generals Kelly and McMaster took in the information from the military that the two ships had collided near Singapore, they had an obligation to the president to advise him of the damages, including the fact that 10 sailors were missing and 5 others were injured.  Despite this obligation, somehow, the two most important military and national security advisors in the country failed to convey to the president exactly how serious the crash was and the fact that this was a tragedy.

What Kelly and McMaster did was to inform the president that a collision had occurred between the two vessels, making it sound as if it were a routine collision where nothing of consequence really happened and it was business-as-usual.  And perhaps, for long-term military officers, it WAS just business-as-usual.

But in the environment of politics and, particularly within the inner circle of a wildly unpopular president with the FNIC, the Party of the Jackass, and the Swamp RINO Establishmentariat, this mere “oversight” by the advisors is quickly transformed into a MAJOR SCANDAL!

A source with direct knowledge of these matters tells Breitbart News that the senior staff at the White House, including National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, did not brief President Donald Trump on the collision the Navy destroyer USS John McCain had with an oil tanker near Singapore before he originally seemingly dismissed the incident saying, “that’s too bad.”

Trump later, after receiving more information on it, tweeted that he hopes for the best for the lost sailors. The collision left 10 sailors missing and another five injured.

“That’s too bad,” Trump said when responding to shouted press questions about the collision of the USS John McCain with an oil tanker, per a White House pool report earlier in the evening.

Many took the comment to be disrespectful and something that critics would not let previous presidents get away with.

Trump later tweeted well-wishes for the missing and injured sailors, along with a link to the press release from the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet.

“What went wrong is the president was not briefed and was not kept abreast as the incident developed,” the source with direct knowledge told Breitbart News late Sunday evening. “This is part of a bigger pattern of growing evidence of disrespect for the president and manipulating the information that is given to him similar to the decision with Afghanistan. The blame for this rests solely on the shoulders of two individuals — General H.R. McMaster and General Kelly — both of whom as flag officers should know better than to keep the commander-in-chief in the dark on these types of issues.”

Knowing the loyalties of these people and the fact that every single issue of national interest appears to be a vital hinge pin for this presidency (where the past presidency of Obama appeared to skate clear of all signs of thin ice), is it feasible to ask whether the two advisors in this case possibly excluded certain important details of the information in order to allow President Trump to embarrass himself?

If I were the president, I would be asking  A LOT of questions on any information that crosses the desks of any of my advisors.  This is an incorrigible action and should be reprimanded.  This sort of information is vital to decision-making at such a high level, and Trump should be treating these men as he would any business manager who worked for the Trump real estate empire.

Trump should start with the very simple question:  Who do I need to fire next?
