Did Clock Boy and his family premeditate this hoax, planning to milk it for every financial advantage? Or were they just idiots not checking in on their son and making sure he was being a responsible teen aged boy? Either way, they fail.
Judge Andrew Napolitano said on the Kelly File,
“If this was part of a purposeful stunt and if the parents were involved in this and if everybody from Mark Zuckerberg to President Obama fell for this, this is not good,” Napolitano said.
“If the parents were involved in the hoax, now you now have a fraud going on because money has been collected on false pretenses,” Napolitano continued.
“Parental responsibility statutes have been in effect in the U.S. for at least 100 years,” according to one source, therefore Ahmed Mohammed’s folks could be found culpable.
